Future Checkin consumes too much battery power to be left on full-time right now. iOS4 supports a low-power background location API that will only wake up the app to obtain a GPS fix when cell tower information indicates that a significant change in location has occurred.

If this supported Google Latitude check-in AND auto foursquare check-in, that would be awesome.

I looked repeatedly. How do I update my password? I change my password on 4sq due to I couldn't remember it. Now I need to update Future Checkin...

If you check in with the official Foursquare app, there is a Yes/No toggle for Share with friends. I usually don't want to do this, so and Future Checkin always does this.

Other than this one missing feature, I would wholeheartedly recommend Future Checkin to others who check in a lot and are tired of having to always pull out their phone and open the app.

I like when I check with the foursquare iPhone app it that I can select if I want it updating my facebook and twitter, or just one or none. It would be nice to also give favorite location a option to push a request for a comment. Like if I auto checkin to my favorite restaurant where I normally add a comment of what i'm ordering, then you have that option. Just a thought(s).

would be nice if the kill switch could be set to turn on and off at certain times, like while I'm at work, or asleep, thus further saving the battery life. Also in addition to the proximity slider what if you had a time interval slider, say it only checks where you are every 15 minutes or 30 or whatever, that could help battery life too right?

Please fix the app.
No results in search, no nearby places, no favourites list, history works but says I'm 12713910 metres from location.
And for a paid app, I would have expected it to have no problems.

Is it possible to disable the GPS signal en let the app use the A-GPS signal?

I logged into 4square and I can add venues from the history. Location access is allowed and it doesn't show me any venues, even if there are some around me for sure. Any suggestions?

It would be nice to be able to change the time between check-ins in the same location globally and by location. For instance, if I check in at work I may not want to check in more than once a day.

Future Checkin is missing from the U.S. iTunes Store. I love the sound of this idea, as I’m exhausted of checking in on Foursquare constantly; I had high hopes after finding this on Google, until I tried to actually *find it*. It seems to no longer be available.

I have tried logging in with my twitter username and password and it doesn't work. Note, my username is not an email address.
